The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja, has declared Ademola Adeleke as the winner of the July 16, 2022 governorship election in Osun.
Recall that Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was declared winner of the July 16, 2022 governorship election in Osun, but his victory was immediately challenged by the Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who alleged over-voting in some polling units.
According to Channels, the appeal court has set aside the judgment of the Tribunal which had earlier declared that Adeleke as the rightful winner of the election.
