The Ekiti State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a second term, citing his impressive performance.
At a meeting attended by top party officials, including former governors, senators, and members of the House of Representatives, the party praised Oyebanji’s representation of the party and his achievements.
The meeting, convened by former governor Otunba Niyi Adebayo, aimed to promote unity and support for Oyebanji’s re-election bid, according to Leadership.
Party stalwarts, including former governors Dr. John Kayode Fayemi and Otunba Adebayo, commended Oyebanji’s inclusive leadership style and encouraged party members to speak with one voice.
The endorsement comes as Oyebanji approaches his second year in office in October, with the party expressing confidence in his ability to sustain his good work.
