The Federal Government has unveiled plans to offer free train rides to Nigerians traveling for the Christmas holidays.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the announcement on Monday during a briefing about the Federal Executive Council meeting.
Idris revealed that the free train rides will begin on December 20, 2024, and run through January 5, 2025.
He further stated that the service will be available on all train routes currently in operation across the country.
