The former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bode George has expressed his willingness to work with President Bola Tinubu, if he needs his assistance.
According to Daily Post, the PDP chieftain made this disclosure while speaking with newsmen in Lagos, noting that he has no personal issue with Tinubu.
Tinubu and Bode George have always been at loggerheads with each other to the extent he vowed to leave the country if Tinubu won at the February 25, 2023 elections.
Bode George had said he would leave Nigeria for Togo if the outcome of the tribunal favours Tinubu.
But George said he would not refuse to work with Tinubu’s administration if invited.
George said, “My reaction, like I have said, there is nothing personal. Look, I trained in the military. You know in the military whoever is in the trench next to you is your brother.
“When you go out to say what is our mission in the military? It is to defend our country.
“If he comes and says look, what do you feel about this, what do you feel about that, let’s work together in the interest of this country, why would I refuse? This nation also trained me.”
