Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday, received the delegation of Princes’ Trust International at the State House, Marina Lagos.
Disclosing this through his Twitter handle on Wednesday, a Special Assistant to the governor on Media, Jubril A. Great, said the visit was part of the activities of the organization to complement global efforts in delivering sustainable development goals.
According to Gawat, the organization works with local partners to develop programs and interventions, to help young people build their futures, and they have their programs across 20 countries within the Commonwealth and beyond, across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Europe.
The Organization was founded by His Majesty, King Charles Ill, to tackle the global crisis of youth unemployment, and it has been in support of the young people across the world, since 2015.
The delegate received at the state house on Wednesday, was led by the Chief Executive Officer of the organization, Will Straw, and the Chairman Board of Trustees, Shabir Randeree.
Stating this through his Twitter account, Gawat wrote: “Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu today received the Delegation from Prince’s Trust International @PrincesTrustInt led by the Chief Executive Officer, Will Straw @wdjstraw and Chair of Trustees, Shabir Randeree at the Lagos House Marina.
“@PrincesTrustInt was founded by His Majesty King Charles III to tackle the global crisis of youth unemployment and has been supporting young people worldwide since 2015.
“@PrincesTrustInt works with local partners to develop programs and interventions to help young people to build their futures.
“The objective of @PrincesTrustInt complements global efforts to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals, their programs are now present in over 20 countries within the Commonwealth and beyond across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Europe.”
