President Bola Tinubu is set to hold his first media interaction on Monday night since he took over office.
The State House issued a statement on Monday afternoon announcing that the event will be broadcast live across the country, starting at 9:00 p.m.
Nigerian Television Authority will air the program, ensuring nationwide coverage, according to presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga.
Tinubu, who was inaugurated as president on May 29, 2023, has not engaged in any press conferences or media briefings since assuming office.
His predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, also seldom addressed the media directly, even during critical national crises that called for clearer communication from the presidency.
