President Bola Tinubu has expressed confidence in Nigeria’s future, assuring citizens that despite the current challenges, significant progress is being made under his administration.
Speaking through National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu at the graduation ceremony of the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja, Tinubu acknowledged the difficulties the nation is facing but emphasized that positive changes are underway.
He stated that while some may disagree with certain policies, fundamental transformations are taking place, and Nigeria is on a path to change.
“Things are happening in our country today. People may not like us. They probably will disagree with one or two things. But fundamentally, things are changing. And Nigeria will change,” he stated.
Regarding his government’s economic reforms, Tinubu recognized the immense challenges involved but reassured the public that better days are ahead. He highlighted that the economy is undergoing significant changes, despite the tough circumstances, and assured citizens that the difficulties would eventually give way to progress.
The president also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring national security and stability. He warned those engaged in criminal activities, whether within Nigeria or abroad, that they will be held accountable and face justice.
“The economy is changing. Very tough, very difficult, very huge challenges we are facing. But I can assure you, better days are ahead of us.
” If you are a bad man, whether you are inside Nigeria or outside, you are in trouble. We will go after you. We will bring you to justice,” Tinubu declared.
