President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of two new Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill existing vacancies.
The new appointees are Mr. Adeladan Rafiu Olarinre from Oyo State and Mr. Mukhtar Yawale Muhammed, representing the North-West geopolitical zone.
A statement issued on Wednesday by Mrs. Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, confirmed the appointments.
Olotu noted that the selections followed a thorough and transparent process, in alignment with the administration’s focus on meritocracy, excellence, and competence within the civil service.
“The new Permanent Secretaries bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their roles, which will further strengthen the delivery of Public Services and support the government’s development agenda,” Olotu stated.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, extended her congratulations to the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries. She also commended President Tinubu for his steadfast commitment to promoting transparency, meritocracy, and professionalism in the Civil Service. Walson-Jack emphasized that these appointments reflect the administration’s dedication to cultivating a competent, results-driven Public Service that addresses the needs of Nigerians.
