The family of the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, has announced the death of their son, Abdullahi Abacha.
This announcement was contained in a message put on the Twitter account of one of the family members, Gumsu Sani Abacha, some minutes ago.
According to her, Abdullahi 36, who was her younger brother, died while sleeping.
She wrote, “Allah ya mishi rahama. Ameen.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilahi raji’un. I lost my younger brother Abdullahi Sani Abacha. He died in his sleep. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him jannatul firdous, Ameen. Please include him in your prayers 🙏🙏,” she wrote.
Jana’iza prayer for him, would be held at the central mosque Abuja, immediately after Asr prayer today.
However, the 36 year old Abdullahi Abacha, would be buried according to Islamic rite, at Gudu cemetery Abuja, this evening.
General Sani Abacha, who is the father of Abdullahi, was the Nigerian head of state between 1993 and 1998.
He died in 1998, and General Abdul Salam Abubakar was installed as the head of state, immediately after his death.
