United States Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate, Kamala Harris, has made a scathing remark about former US President Donald Trump, saying that world leaders view him as a “disgrace” and a “laughing stock”.
Harris made this statement during the presidential debate on Tuesday, where she criticized Trump’s leadership and abilities.
“I have travelled the world as Vice President of the United States and world leaders are laughing at Donald Trump,” Harris said.
“I have talked with military leaders, some of whom worked with you, and they say you’re a disgrace.”
Harris further emphasized that Trump lacks the necessary qualities to be an effective leader, stating: “He does not have the temperament or the ability to not be confused about fact.”
Her comments suggest that Trump’s presidency has damaged the United States’ reputation globally, and that world leaders have little respect for him.
