Ahead of the May 29 presidential inauguration, the former United Kingdom Prime Minister, Tony Blair, on Tuesday visited the President-elect, Bola Tinubu.
This was disclosed by Tinubu through his official Twitter account on Tuesday evening.
He wrote, “I received former British Prime Minister and founder Tony Blair Institute for Good Governance, Mr Tony Blair, at the Defence House, Abuja, earlier today.
“We discussed areas of mutual interests and how Nigeria can continue to benefit from the amazing work of the Institute.”
Blair served as UK Prime Minister between 1997 and 2007.
