President Bola Tinubu and former President Olusegun Obasanjo were all smiles on Monday, January 15, at the inauguration of Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma, for a second term.
In photos from the event, both politicians were seen shaking hands and smiling, as they put their differences aside exchanging pleasantries.
Recall that, in the build up to the 2023 general elections, Obasanjo was opposed to the emergence of President Tinubu and even campaigned against him for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
The duo have also been at logger heads even before the 2023 general elections, dating far back as 1999.
Obasanjo became president in 1999 and Tinubu, governor of Lagos State. During the course of governance, Obasanjo refused sending Federation Account Allocation Committee to Lagos for months, thereby, warranting Tinubu to drag the presidency (Obasanjo) to court and indeed, he (Tinubu) won in court.
