Vice President Kashim Shettima has visited Kaduna State, to commiserate with Governor Uba Sani, and the people of the State, over the recent kidnapping incident in Kuriga Village, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Shettima who was welcomed by Governor Sani, at the Airforce Base in Kaduna, the State capital, visited the state on Saturday.
Among other people who welcomed Shettima were the minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas, the speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Yusuf Liman, and other Senior Government officials in the State.
It would be recalled that no fewer than 287 pupils of Lea Primary School, and students of Government Secondary School in Kuriga, Chikun L.GA of the state, were recently kidnapped by suspected terrorists.
However, the Vice President was there to commiserate with Governor Sani and the residents of the State.
