Attendees of the presidential inauguration concert were thrilled with breathtaking performances from various Nigerian musical artists.
The event which started on Thursday evening saw the likes of Timaya, Asake, Zinolesky, Buju, Waje, Brymo, Fireboy, Kaycee, Pasuma, Naira Marley, Tony Tetuila, Seyi Vibe among other artists perform at the MKO Abiola National Stadium.
The event, tagged “Renewed Hope Concert,” was organised by the youth wing of the All Progressives Congress, led by Seyi Tinubu, one of the sons of the incoming president.
It was organized, in celebration of the victory in the general elections, and to as well, honour the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and his vice, Kassim Shettima, who were also in attendance at the event.
The Chairman of the Renewed Hope Concert Media Committee, Ademuyiwa Taofeek, while highlighting the event, said it was meticulously planned as an inclusive celebration, recognizing the priceless contributions of young people across the country, who campaigned vigorously, rallied support, and championed the cause of the Renewed Hope agenda, 2023.
Tinubu and Shettima will be officially inaugurated as the President and Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on the 29th of May, 2023.
