Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke aka Davido, has said that voters rejected money being offered to them in Saturday’s Osun governorship election.
Davido, in a tweet, hailed the process, saying there is hope for Nigeria.
According to the ‘Stand strong’ crooner, ability to vote according to conscience is a great and plausible development.
The 30BG boss tweeted, “People rejecting money being offered to them left and right of the state today… Great to see… there is stilll hope for Nigeria.”
Davido has been drumming support for his uncle, People Democratic Party’s candidate, Ademola Adeleke, who again is contesting against All Progressives Congress’ Gboyega Oyetola.
