Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, of the All Progressives Congress has lost the Government House polling unit in Osogbo to Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party.
According to ThisDay, in the governorship election score sheet for Agowande/ Oshogbo GRA/ Governor’s office polling unit in the Olorunda Local Government Area prepared by Assistant Polling Officer, Nwachukwu Henrietta Chidinma, PDP scored 117 votes while APC got 106 votes.
Other parties and their scores are Accord Party 2, APM 1, PRP 1 and SDP 1.
Premium Politics had reported that voting to elect a new governor for a term of four years ended on Saturday afternoon and the collation of results had begun with APC and PDP taking the lead in the contest.
APC and PDP have called on their members and party agents to defend their votes, and return to their polling units to gather the results of the votes.
The election as of press time has been declared free and fair but the Economic Financial Crimes Commission has arrested three persons over vote-buying.
