Nigerian music star David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly condemned the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Umar Abba, accusing him of flouting the rule of law.
His criticism comes in response to the violence that erupted in Osun State on Monday, which led to the death of the sacked chairman of Irewole Local Government, Remi Abass, along with two others. The victims were shot dead by unidentified gunmen at the local government secretariat in Ikire.
Expressing his outrage on Instagram, Davido vowed to keep the pressure on the police commissioner until he is removed from office if he fails to uphold the law.
“Mr. Commissioner, respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us!! Make we all kuru mad!! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post you every day everywhere, Mr. man!!! Try me,” the singer declared.
In another post, he escalated his criticism, writing, “MAN STEP ASIDE!!! Game on!!! Oya men mount!! WHY ARE YOU GOING AGAINST THE RULE OF LAW!! I will post you every day till they sack you!!! You think say na only you mad abi? I mad pass.”
Davido did not relent in his attacks, branding the police commissioner a “disgrace” and vowing to continue his public outcry.
“Mr Umar abba osun state commissioner u are a disgrace to ur children !! !!! Game on FUCKER!!!! All of us go mad together !! Werey!!!,” he added.
