The presidential candidate of the All Progressives congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated all other major contenders of the Saturday Presidential election in Epe local government area of Lagos State, polling a score of 19, 867, while The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar came second, with a score of 5, 221 votes.
However, Gregory Peter Obi of the Labour Party came third in the presidential election in Ekiti State with a score of 3, 497, while Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, Polled a score of 76 votes.
This year’s Presidential election is a very tight contest, between three major contenders and expectations of Nigerians are very high, to know who is going to govern the country for another four years.
However, the Independent National Electoral Commission in conjunction and all the security operatives in Nigeria, have done a wonderful job in making sure that the election is free and fair.
