The Nassarawa Local Government Chairman in Kano State, Yusuf Imam, has appointed 60 aides to various positions within his administration.
The appointments were formalized in a letter dated January 6, 2024, signed by the Local Government Secretary, Hon. Ado Muhd Hotoro.
The newly appointed aides will take on roles such as personal aides, special assistants, directors-general, and special reporters.
The appointments were made based on merit, dedication, honesty, and commitment to public service.
The letter emphasized that the selected individuals were chosen to help improve the functioning of the local council and ensure effective service delivery to the people of Nassarawa.
The Chairman expressed his commitment to promoting and developing the local government area through these appointments.
Key appointments include Jamilu D. Attahir, who has been appointed as Principal Personnel Secretary, Rabilu Muhd Gama as Personal Assistant on Documentation, and Kabiru Ishak Hannafi as Personal Assistant on Domestic Affairs. Other notable appointees include Hassan Shehu Adamu, who will serve as Special Assistant for Media, Auwal Abdullahi as Chief Protocol, and Halima Abubakar as Women Leader.
Chairman Yusuf Imam expressed confidence in the new appointees’ abilities and urged them to carry out their responsibilities with dedication and a strong commitment to the success of the local government.
“Sequel to the efforts of the Honourable Chairman of Nassarawa Local Government to promote and develop the local government area, I wish to convey the approval for the appointment of the following prominent individuals to various roles across different fields and professions,” part of the letter reads.
