Makinde, Ikpeazu grace Wike’s son graduation in UK

Governors of Oyo and Abia states, Seyi Makinde and Okezie Ikpeazu, were part of the guests who attended the graduation of the son of their Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike, in the United Kingdom.

Wike’s son, Jordan, graduated with Second Class Honors, Upper Division in Law from the University of Exeter, UK.

In viral photos, Wike’s family alongside some governors of the Peoples Democratic Party attended the graduation.

The event happened even as the industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities entered its sixth month since mid-February 2022.

Thousands of students of public tertiary institutions have been at home whilst politicians and government officials send their wards to private universities in the country and overseas.
