Former President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he remains committed to the All Progressives Congress and the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.
He said this on Tuesday during his speech at the launch of a book written in his honor titled: “Working with Buhari”.
The book, written by Buhari’s former spokesperson, Femi Adesina, was presented alongside five volumes of another book titled ‘Muhammadu Buhari, The Nigerian Legacy, 2015 to 2023.’
The book launch which held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, marks Buhari’s first official visit to the Federal Capital Territory since May 29, 2023 when he handed over to Tinubu.
The event was also the first time that Tinubu and Buhari will appear together in public since the handover of May 29.
During his address, Buhari said: “I remain committed to our party, All Progressives Congress, and the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
In attendance were: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo (SAN); and former Head of State, General Yekubu Gowan, who served as the Chairman of the occasion.
Also in attendance were the former First Lady, Aisha Buhari, the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, among several other dignitaries.
