Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has appointed Kabiru Jarimi, the former Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government, as his Special Adviser on Local Government Affairs.
The announcement was made in a statement by Ibraheem Musa, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor.
The statement highlighted that Jarimi is expected to leverage his extensive experience in Local Government Administration to contribute to the success of his new role. As the state government continues to advance its Rural Transformation Programme and collaborate with Local Government Councils, Sani is bringing on board experienced, innovative, and resourceful individuals.
Governor Sani expressed confidence in Jarimi’s ability to perform his duties with dedication, commitment, and fairness, while also wishing him Allah’s guidance and protection in his new role.
Kabiru Jarimi is a seasoned public official with a proven track record, having served two terms as the Executive Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government. He is known for his leadership in developing community-focused policies, promoting sustainable development, and improving public service delivery.
The appointment is effective immediately, according to the statement from Musa.
“As the State Government ramps up its Rural Transformation Programme and forges strategic partnerships with Local Government Councils, Sani is bringing into its fold tested, innovative and resourceful persons.
” While urging Jarimi to approach his responsibility with commitment, dedication and fairness, the governor wishes him Allah’s guidance and protection,” Mr Musa said.
