Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, on Tuesday emerged the new chairman of the Northern State Governors Forum.
According to Daily Post, he replaces the outgoing governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong.
Simon Lalong’s tenure as chairman of the forum ended after more than three years in office.
However, Yahaya, who was elected governor of Gombe State in 2019, was re-elected for a second term in the 2023 general election.
