The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has reassured Nigerians of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to advancing the country’s economic reforms.
In a statement, she expressed confidence that these reforms would foster a prosperous nation where every citizen can thrive. She highlighted the importance of unity, urging Nigerians to rise above their differences and work together to rebuild connections based on love, respect, and understanding. The First Lady emphasized the need to invest in one another, support the youth, and protect the dignity of elders as essential steps toward creating a thriving nation.
Senator Tinubu further assured the public that the Tinubu administration is deeply committed to implementing reforms that will unlock Nigeria’s economic potential. Her comments come at a time when the nation is grappling with the effects of the removal of the petrol subsidy in May 2023. The ongoing tax reform bills are also generating significant debate across the country.
