The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, alongside his sons, visited President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence on Thursday, December 26, to mark the Christmas festivities.
The visit allowed the FCT Minister to further engage with the president, sharing additional plans aimed at transforming the nation’s capital into a central hub, a key focus of his administration since his appointment.
A statement from Mr. Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social Media to the FCT Minister, revealed that President Tinubu warmly received the minister and his family, exchanging festive greetings and engaging in a brief discussion.
Since taking office, Wike has been proactive in launching various developmental projects in the FCT, earning praise from stakeholders for his efforts to restore the capital’s former glory.
