Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has floored the incumbent, Governor Gboyega Oyetola, in 17 out of the 30 local government areas in the state.
As of press time, Adeleke is leading Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress with over 25,000 votes.
The PDP challenger in 2018 contested with Oyetola who is now seeking reelection and the APC candidate defeated him.
However, results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Sunday morning have favoured Adeleke so far though the electoral umpire had yet to declare a winner as of press time.
