At least four presidential aspirants of the All Progress Congress have stepped down from the presidential race to support former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, at the ongoing national convention.
Premium Politics reports that the aspirants are former Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; and former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Senator Godswill Akpabio.
The trio urged their delegates to vote for the APC national leader, noting that he is the capable successor to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
Also, former Senate President, Dimeji Bankole, also stepped down to support Tinubu.
