The ruling All Progressives Congress on Monday commenced its two-day screening of all of its presidential candidates.
Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari(retd) made this known in a tweet.
“Our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) commences a two-day screening of its presidential aspirants ahead of the June 6th presidential primary election,” he tweeted.
Premium Politics gathered that the party’s screening exercise is being held at the Hilton Transcorp Hotel in Abuja ahead of the June 6 presidential primary of the party.
The former National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, will lead the seven-man Presidential Screening Committee, according to The Nation.
All of the candidates had gone through a vetting process with the party’s legal department.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu are some of the Aspirants who will be screened during the two-day screening exercise.
