The Akwa Ibom State Government, in collaboration with the bereaved family of the late First Lady, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno, has released the schedule for her funeral arrangements.
This official announcement was made by the Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Prince Enobong Uwah.
Pastor Eno, who passed away on September 26, 2024, was widely respected for her dedication to the state and her community through her pastoral service.
The funeral events, which have been organized in consultation with the state government, will begin with the opening of the Mourning House on November 20, 2024.
Condolence visits will also be held from November 20 to November 26, 2024, allowing friends, family, and well-wishers to pay their respects and offer support to the grieving family.
On November 22, 2024, a Night of Worship and Tributes will be held at the International Christian Worship Centre in Uyo, beginning at 6 PM.
This event will provide an opportunity for loved ones and members of the community to come together in a solemn atmosphere to honor the life and legacy of Pastor Eno.
The Service of Songs will take place on November 27, 2024, at her Country Home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium LGA. Scheduled from 6 PM to 8 PM, this service will allow attendees to celebrate her life through song and reflection.
The final funeral service is set for November 29, 2024, at her Country Home in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium LGA, beginning at 10 AM. This event will mark a farewell to a beloved First Lady, pastor, and community leader, as family members, dignitaries, and citizens gather to honor her contributions to the state.
