The African Action Congress has officially inaugurated its new executive members in Anambra State, marking a significant step in strengthening the party’s presence and leadership in the region.
Femi Adeyeye, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, announced the inauguration through a statement he signed and made available to journalists in Awka on Wednesday.
According to Adeyeye, the appointment of the new executive members will play a crucial role in the party’s efforts to foster good governance and promote effective leadership both at the national level and within state governments. The inauguration of the State Working Committee, he stated, signifies the party’s commitment to driving revolutionary change in the political landscape.
The newly appointed executives have pledged to work diligently to advance the party’s ideals and values, while actively engaging with the people of Anambra to bring about meaningful change in the political system.
The party also issued a strong warning against individuals posing as members or executives of the AAC in Anambra. The statement stressed that any such imposters would face consequences, as security agencies have been alerted to monitor and address any potential disruptions.
The AAC expressed confidence that the new leadership will bring fresh ideas and perspectives, and reiterated its commitment to supporting the new executives as they take on their roles.
