The Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, has pledged that his administration will focus on policies and programs aimed at fostering inclusive development and creating economic opportunities for the people of the state.
In his New Year message to the people of Ebonyi, Governor Nwifuru attributed the successes his government has achieved so far to the support and prayers of the citizens. He extended warm greetings to all residents and citizens of the state, describing the New Year as a time of reflection and renewal. The Governor emphasized that the new year presents an opportunity to pursue personal growth and collective progress in alignment with the People’s Charter of Needs Agenda.
Governor Nwifuru also highlighted the achievements of his administration in 2024, crediting the people’s support and encouragement for the progress made. He noted that through these efforts, his government made significant strides and achieved considerable improvements in various sectors.
The Governor mentioned that over 25,000 citizens had been placed on a solid economic foundation, which he believes will drive accelerated growth and prosperity for the state. He acknowledged that while 2024 presented challenges, it also revealed the resilience, unity, and innovation of the people of Ebonyi.
In his message, Nwifuru reiterated that his government made significant progress in enhancing infrastructure, healthcare, education, and security. He assured the people that the year 2025 would mark a new era in the state’s political history and would bring the full realization of his administration’s manifesto.

“This is a time of reflection and renewal, an opportunity to chart a new course for personal growth and collective progress in line with the People’s Charter of Needs Agenda.
“In 2024, we, through your support, prayers and encouragements, annexed new grounds, and deliberately took a quantum leap in all spheres of governance.”
According to the State Chief Executive, ” Though the year 2024 brought challenges, it also showcased the resilience, unity, and innovation of our people.
““I have declared this new year as one that will be marked by unprecedented development, growth and massive transformation of all parts of the state” the Governor assured.
