Plateau born politician, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has been appointed the new Minister of State, Police Affairs.
Following her appointment, she becomes the first female individual to hold the office in the history of the nation.

i. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim was born in Plateau State, but a significant portion of her formative years was spent in Abuja. The individual in question received her early education at Aruwa Nursery School in Abuja, followed by her primary education at Jabi Primary School (now known as LEA Primary School, Jabi).
ii. At the age of 21, she had attained two master’s degrees. She successfully completed her undergraduate studies in Sociology at the University of Abuja, achieving this milestone at the age of 19. The individual obtained two master’s degrees, namely a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Arts (MA), from Webster University’s London Campus located in St. Louis, Missouri.
iii. Imaan completed her National Youth Service at the Kaduna Zonal Office of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
iv. She is currently in the process of fulfilling the requirements for her Doctoral degree in Security and Strategic Studies at the Nigeria Defence Academy.
v. Imaan commenced her professional journey at Abuja Geographic Information Systems (AGIS). The AGIS job involves the implementation of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) for the Federal Capital Territory (F.C.T.), as well as the digitization of spatially connected processes within specific departments and agencies of the Federal Capital Development Agency.
vi. Imaan holds the position of Co-Founder/President within The Beehive Initiative, which has since been rebranded as the BumbleeBee Civic Initiative. This platform is dedicated to the cultivation and guidance of women with political aspirations, as well as the establishment of grassroots civic consciousness.
vii. She worked as a senior sales director for Mary Kay, a cosmetic and skincare brand.
viii. She was appointed Federal Commissioner of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons Office in June 2021.
